This policy applies to all candidates and teaching staff at TEPTH. Certain faculty members are assigned specific responsibilities to ensure these disability guidelines are effectively implemented.

Eligibility and Enrollment Criteria

A formal medical diagnosis may be required for a candidate to receive support; evidence-based information regarding their learning needs is sufficient. TEPTH decision-makers will review individual cases to grant disability status based on the following criteria:

• Total or partial loss of a body part.
• Disfigurement or malfunction of a body part.
• Illnesses or disorders that disrupt behavior, judgment, emotions, thought processes, or reality perception.
• Physical weaknesses that increase vulnerability to disease or illness.
• Any bodily disorder or malfunction that causes an individual to learn differently than their peers.
